Low Deck Height

In transport position, the Retriever’s deck can get within 18" of the road surface, depending on the chassis being used. The benefits of such a low height are:

1. More types of tall equipment can be hauled to more locations, since the Retrieve will fit under more bridges and overpasses.
2. The lower center of gravity created by the height increases overall vehicle stability, making over-the-road travel easier and safer.
3. Easier and safer for the driver to get on and off the deck, increasing loading/unloading speed and improving driver productivity.
4. Vehicles don’t fall as far when driven off the deck, reducing maintenance and replacement costs, as well as reducing the number of driver deaths and/or dismemberments. (Just checking to see if you were pay attention.)
