Multi-Position Automatic Ramp

The ramp extends and retracts, through the use of the truck's air power.  No lifting is required from the operator. The ramp is constructed of 3.14 psf heavy duty expanded metal grating over frame members on 8" centers.

During transport, the ramp is restrained by two over-center cam locks, which can be released easily by the operator, but which will not be unlocked by road vibration.

The ramp is operated by simple hand controls housed within the lighted, weather-tight Control Box at the rear of the deck.

The ramp can be placed in three positions: 1) Transport, 2) /Extended Surface/Static Loading, and 3) Ground Level Loading.

In the Extended Surface position, the ramp can support up to 8,000  lbs., allowing easy transportation of long equipment such as boom lifts or loader-backhoes Regulation tail and brake lights are active when Retriever is driven with the ramp in the Extended Surface position.

The Extended ramp will support up to 20,000 lbs per axle when used for Static Loading
